LAEM SING BEACH  

Laem Sing Beach has become popular among visitors in the recent past. With this in mind, a long stretch of small food stalls has now been set up along the beach. You can easily get yourself a snack, or even a whole meal from one of these stalls. There are boat rides operating from Laem Sing Beach, to take visitors to the two Islands located close by Koh Nom Sao and Koh Chula. 

NOEN NANGPHAYA VIEWPOINT

Noen Nangphaya Viewpoint is the most famous viewpoint in the Chanthaburi province. It shows a series of turns of the coastal road considered as one of the most beautiful in Thailand.

NAMTOK PHLIU NATIONAL PARK

The Namtok Phlio National Park located 14 kilometers from Chanthaburi is home to, as its name suggests, a waterfall called Namtok Phliu which has three levels and a pool of clear , fresh and fishy water. The cascade has water all year long, although of course the flow is much lower at the end of the dry season (March-April).

CHANTHABOON WATERFRONT

The old town of Chanthaboon, the former name of Chanthaburi. With its wooden houses, the street that runs along the river at the bottom of Wat Bot and goes to the bridge leading to the Cathedral.


THE CATHOLIC CHURCH

Place : The Catholic Church
Location : Chanthaburi Province

Open Hour : 13:00 - 15:00 pm (Mon / Tue / Wed)

Descriptions : The original structure of the church had a tall roof that was considered one of its prominent features. However, this roof was taken down during World War Two to make sure that the building did not become an easy target. However, certain gothic elements of the original church can still be seen at this sacred site which is also known as the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, the largest of its kind in the country.

BAAN LAEM THAI – CAMBODIAN BOARDER MARKET

Place : Baan Laem Thai – Cambodian Boarder Market
Location : Thep Nimit, Pong Nam Ron, Chanthaburi Province
Open Hours : 08:30 am – 16:30 pm

Descriptions :  In North-Eastern Thailand in search of a unique shopping or cultural experience, then there’s no better place than the Ban Laem-Cambodian Border Market. The market is a truly remarkable concept since it acts as a convergence between Thailand and Cambodia for the purpose of trade. It covers a fairly large area of land and features the presence of sellers from both nations. Tourists visiting the market would have to have their passports stamped by immigration officers.
