Descriptions : Wat Arun was envisioned by King Taksin in 1768. It's believed that after flighting his way out of Ayutthya, which was taken over by a Burmese army at the time, he arrived at this temple just as sawn was breaking. He later hasd the temple renovated and renamed it Wat Chaeng, the Temple of the Dawn. It used to be the home of the Emerald Buddha before the capital and Palace was moved to the other side of the river. This can now be seen at the Grand Palace. The central prang was extended during the reign of Rama III (between 1824 and 1851). It was also Rama III who added the decoration of the spires with porcelain so that they glimmer in the sunshine.

Descriptions : Wat Benchamabophit knownas the marble temple. Construction of the temple began in 1899 at the request of Chulalongkorn after building his palace nearby. The emple;s name lirerally means "the Temple of the fifth King located near Dusit Palace. It was designed by Prince Naris, a half-brother of the king, and is built of Italian marble.

Description : Wat Saket in Bangkok Old Town is an Ayutthaya-era shrine with a gleaming gold chedi in Bangkok. Also called the Golden Mount, it occupies an 80 metre tal manmade hill that was built during the reign of King Rama III. The temple welcomes worshippers year-round, though it's busiest during its annual temple fair in November, during Loy Krathong. The temple grounds have mature trees and typical Buddist structures such as a main prayer hall, ordination hall and libray.

Descriptions : The Wat Suthat is also known as the temple of the giant swing, after the huge res swing in front of it called Sao Ching Chaa. The teak wood 20 meter high swing that was built at the end of the 18th century was used in annual Brahmanic ceremonies. Groups of young men competted with each other trying to swing high enough to grab with their teeth a bag of gold coins that was attached to a pole. some men would swing well over 20 meters in the air. After a number of fatal accidents, the swing ceremony was cancelled in the 1930's.

Originally centred around Sampheng, the core of Chinatown now lies along Yaowarat Road, which serves as its main artery and sometimes lends its name to the entire area, which is often referred to as Yaowarat. Chinatown grew to become Bangkok's commercial hub throughout the late 19th to early 20th centuries. It now serves as a hub of Chinese culture, with numerous shops selling traditional goods, and is especially known as a gastronomic destination.

Descriptions : The Jim Thompsons’s house is a Thai House owned by James H. W. Thompson, an American entrepreneur who founded the world renowned Jim Thompson Thai Silk Company.
The house is a combination of 6 traditional Thai-style teak-wooden houses. There are displays of antique, artifacts and collection of Contemporary arts, predominantly of Asian-origin art works, which can be broadly classified into 4 main categories; sculptures, paintings, porcelain and painted pottery and other collectible items.
In 1976, the court-appointed administrator for the property of Jim Thompson received official permission from the Thai government to establish a “Jimes HW Thompson Foundation”. By virtue of Thai cultural heritage, and therefore, are supported by many project research sponsorship to drive the objectives of foundation.
